  • Answer a few questions to see where you are on the CDC priority list
  • Make sure you provide your correct contact information

Steps you must follow:

  • Please wait until we contact you to make an appointment
  • When it’s time, you’ll be alerted by email & app
  • You don’t need to worry - your spot is assured - we will reach out
  • We are working on communicating an estimated time and place in the queue

Step 3   Get your appointment

Steps you must follow:

  • Your appointment time will be based on vaccine availability & priority set by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH)
  • If you need to cancel an appointment, you can reschedule and you will retain your priority in line

Step 4   Fast Check-in - Arrive prepared and breeze through reception

Steps you must follow:

  • Fill out the pre-screening questions
  • Get the QR code in the app
  • Please arrive on time

Othena will measure the expected wait times at vaccination clinics and accordingly modify its queue settings.

Othena matches you with vaccine providers. When they have vaccines available, it will let you know through email, push notification, or text message.

Priority Based on Assessments

The screenings you take when registering with Othena are used to ascertain your priority group. Once your priority group is eligible, your turn is calculated based on first come, first served.
